You earn points by helping classmates — posting answers (+5), getting upvotes (+10 each), having your answer marked as Best Answer (+15), accepting tutor sessions (+20), getting 5-star ratings (+15), and daily logins (+2). You spend points posting questions (−10) or requesting tutoring sessions (−5).
When you redeem points for a campus venue discount, a unique QR code is generated and sent to your university email. Take that QR code to the venue, show it at the counter, and the discount is applied instantly. Each code is single-use.
When you accumulate 1,000 points through helping others, you automatically unlock the Verified Tutor badge. This badge is displayed on your profile and makes you eligible to accept private one-on-one tutoring session requests from other students, earning even more points.
